Plasnewydd Guest House in Llanwrtyd Wells, Mid Wales, United Kingdom is a delightful family run, refurbished, Visit Wales 4 Star Bed and Breakfast, quietly positioned amongst great beauty and unspoilt charm. Attention is given to detail to ensure our guests personal comfort. We have won an award for Llanwrtyd Wells Floral Display on numerous occasions, we are happy for our guests to relax and enjoy the splendour of our garden. Plasnewydd was built as a guest house for our family in 1911. We are proud that our family are the longest serving accommodation providers who have always resided in our town giving us a wealth of experience, with guests returning year after year. We have set out to create a new concept in hospitality, offering a great atmosphere, good food which is a core ingredient of Plasnewydd B&B with our legendary breakfasts which guests often cite as a major reason for staying with us. We offer well designed rooms with many extras including TVs, wifi, beverage trays, bathrobes, hair dryers, toiletries, clock and fluffy towels, also en suite and private bathroom/shower facilities. We must mention our vegetarian homemade sausages, not to be missed which makes them a treat for your breakfast and are available daily. Also provided daily to our guests beverage tray are freshly baked welsh cakes and bara brith. We are lucky enough to have off-road parking on our site together with storage shed and washing facilities for bikes. The combination of our great food, welcoming host with thoughtful smiling service, personal comfort and magnificent countryside where it is impossible to exhaust the wonderful walks, makes Plasnewydd B&B just too seductive to resist. A credit card is required to secure your reservation at Plasnewydd Bed and Breakfast. There will be no cancellation charge if a booking is cancelled before 10:00:00, 2 Days Prior to Arrival. If the booking is cancelled later, or in the case of a no-show, First Night Stay Chargeable.

By Road:Llanwrtyd Wells is located in Powys, Mid Wales, UK, on the A483 between Builth Wells and Llandovery.From the Severn Bridge leave the A40 either after Crickhowell and take the A479 joining the A470, or at Brecon take the A470, both joining the A483 at Builth Wells.From the North pick up the A483 from Chester.From the East take the A44 from Worcester, A481to Builth Wells and the A483 to Llanwrtyd Wells.At Llanwrtyd Wells. To find Plasnewydd driving in a westerly direction, at the town centre, take the turning on your left immediately after the Spar shop and follow the road straight up ahead for 250yards. Plasnewydd B&B is the large Edwardian red brick house on your left hand side.From the A40 at Llandovery, take the A483, drive 12 miles north to Llanwrtyd Wells.At Llanwrtyd Wells after passing over the bridge take the turn on your right hand side at the Spar shop. 250yards straight ahead on your left hand side is Plasnewydd B&B. Llanwrtyd Wells is approximately an hour and a half drive from the Severn Bridge.By Rail:Llanwrtyd Wells is served by the Heart of Wales railway line which runs along the picturesque route from Shrewsbury to Swansea. Directions to Plasnewydd B&B. On leaving the railway station turn left and walk straight ahead for approximately 300 yards, after passing Lasswade Country House, to find Plasnewydd take the first turning on your right hand side, 20 yards ahead is our B&B. |
