The Falcon Hotel is a boutique 30-bedroom, three-star (Self classified), located in the heart of Farnborough, on the main A325/Farnborough Road (accessible via the London-bound M3 Motorway) adjacent to the TAG London Farnborough Airport, where the famous Farnborough International Air Show is held every two years. The hotel is located close to the mainline railway station, linking Farnborough and London in just 40 minutes (during peak periods), as well as the local headquarters of companies such as BAE Systems, IBM, Nokia, Siemens, and many more. Attractions close to the hotel include: The Royal Ascot, Legoland, Thorpe Park, and the well-known Windsor Castle. There will be no cancellation charge if a booking is cancelled before You have until 13:00 local time, two days prior to your arrival date, to cancel your reservation without penalty; any cancellations after this time will incur a late cancellation charge equal to the first two nights for all bedrooms reserved.. By car, take the M3 motorway (or M25 to the M3), heading away from Central London, and take the junction/exit #4 for Farnborough and follow road-signs for the A331/A325 Farnborough. Follow the A331 to the round about and follow signs for the A325 (Farnborough Road) south-bound, which will take you to Farnborough. Follow the A325 (Farnborough Road) south-bound, passing en-route a BP petrol station, a residential neighbourhood, a shopping-centre, a car dealership, and finally arriving at the hotel on your left-hand side. By train, take the South-West Trains service from London Waterloo to Farnborough Main station; stations called include: London Waterloo, Woking, Clapham Junction, and Basingstoke. The hotel is 1 1/4 miles from the railway station, which is used by several local taxi companies. Farnborough North and Northcamp railways stations connect with Reading and the Gatwick Airport Line and are both within 2 miles of the hotel. Local taxies can be contacted by telephone from either station. London Heathrow Airport is located approximateley 25 miles from the hotel. It is cheaper to book a taxi in advance of your arrivial at the airport to meet you, rather than use an airport-based taxi and will cost approximately £35-£40. |
