Built in Victorian times, the hotel stands in six acres of beautiful gardens overlooking Lake Windermere and the Cumbrian Hills beyond. Central for many local attractions such as the Windermere Lake Cruises, Beatrix Potter Museum, The Steamboat Museum and a variety of local shops. Complimentary WiFi now available throughout the Hotel. Why not enjoy a little luxury and enjoy superb views from your own bedroom by "upgrading" to a Suite or Four Poster room. Bar lunches in the Schneider Bar and dinner in our Moonwater Restaurant overlooking the lake are served daily as well as our popular Sunday Lunch Carvery.
