Drapers Hotel (formerly de Vere Arms Hotel) is located in Earls Colne, a village nestled in the heart of the beautiful Colne Valley, which meanders along the borders of Essex and Suffolk, fringing the world famous area known as ‘Constable Country’. Furnished to a high standard, each of the 9 bedrooms has it's own unique character, offering a variety of accommodation, combined with personal service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Threadneedles Brasserie and Wine Bar is perfect for winding down with a cup of coffee or perhaps your favourite tipple. Brasserie menus change monthly and offer an array of dishes, catering for both modern and traditional tastes. All meals are freshly prepared by highly skilled chefs using locally sourced produce, including home reared Beef from a farm run by relatives of the owners.

A credit card is required to secure your reservation at Drapers Hotel. There will be no cancellation charge if a booking is cancelled before 22:00:00, 1 Days Prior to Arrival. If the booking is cancelled later, or in the case of a no-show, First Night Stay Chargeable.

Transport  
From M25: Leave the M25 at junction 27 onto the M11 North. Leave the M11 at junction 8A onto the A120 signed for Colchester. Follow the A120 to Braintree, at the Galleys Corner roundabout take the second exit, continuing on the A120. At the Marks Farm roundabout take the 3rd exit, turning right signed for Colchester. Continue forward, going through the village of Bradwell, once out of Bradwell continue forward for approximtaley 1.5 miles. Turn left onto the B1024 signed Earls Colne continue forward, entering Earls Colne. At the mini roundabout turn left and continue forward, pasth the church on the left, around the bend into the high street. The Drapers Hotel can be found on the right hand side in the high street. From Stansted: When exiting the airport take the A120 signed for Colchester. Follow the A120 to Braintree, at the Galleys Corner roundabout take the second exit, continuing on the A120. At the Marks Farm roundabout take the 3rd exit, turning right signed for Colchester. Continue forward, going through the village of Bradwell, once out of Bradwell continue forward for approximtaley 1.5 miles. Turn left onto the B1024 signed Earls Colne continue forward, entering Earls Colne. At the mini roundabout turn left and continue forward, pasth the church on the left, around the bend into the high street. The Drapers Hotel can be found on the right hand side in the high street.
